“Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Youth Media Awards Gala Ceremony”

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, the winners of the third edition of the Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Youth Media Awards will receive their prizes at a gala ceremony on the first day of the Arab Media Forum 2010.
To be held from 8.00pm – 9.00pm at The Atlantis Palm, the award aims to recognize deserving Emirati youth in the UAE with outstanding media talent and encourage them to enhance their skills to maximise their career potential.
For the current edition, His Highness Sheikh Majid has ordered the inclusion of two new categories - press photography and graphic design – based on the crucial roles both play in various aspects of the media.
Previous recipients of the Awards have gone on to acquire key positions with media companies in the UAE or substantial funding for their innovative projects across the print and broadcast industries.
Dubai Press Club is working closely with the organizing committee of the Awards as part of its strategic media partnership. Its initiative to host the gala awards ceremony within the agenda of the Arab Media Forum comes as part of its endeavour to highlight the multifaceted talent of the Emirati youth, connect them with media organisations and key representatives, and provide them with opportunities to communicate and showcase their various talents.
