Abdallah Kassir is heading the Supreme Council of the Union of Islamic radio stations and satellite channels since 2009. He has also been leading the higher committee of coordination between Arab satellite channels in the Arab Countries Broadcasting Union since 2008. He was elected as Member of the Lebanese Parliament from the Sour constituency, consecutively in 1996 and 2000 to 2005.
Qasir is also the Secretary General of the international Tie of MPs to Defend the Palestinian Cause. He has given many lectures at intellectual and political forums, and published key research papers and articles.
