Dr. Abdul Khaleq Abdullah is the Professor of Political Science in the UAE University. In 2005, he was named ’Cultural Personality of the Year‘. Abd Abdullah is the main author of the Arab Knowledge Report 2008. He has also worked for six years as Director of Dar Al Khaleej publishing, and as supervisor on the strategic Gulf report. Earlier, he has spent 10 years as Chief Editor of a social affairs magazine.
Dr. Abdul Khaleq has authored a series of books, including ‘The Story of Politics’ and ‘Arab Diplomacy in a Changing World’ and ‘the Arab World between Two Centuries’. His latest book is titled ‘Dubai: The Journey of an Arab City from Local to Global.’
