Abdullah Al-Shayji

Dr. Abdullah Al-Shayji is the Head of the Political Science Department, College of Social Sciences, Kuwait University. An advisor to the President of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, Dr. Al-Shayji also sits on the Foreign Affairs Committee and Fact-Finding Commission and Committee on Prisoners and Hostages in the Kuwaiti Parliament. He has additionally worked as a Consultant and Director of the Media Office at the Kuwait Embassy in Lebanon and as an Editorialist at Awan Newspaper, Al Ittihad, Al Watan and Gulf News.
Dr. Al-Shayji has also served as a political analyst in many Arab, international and foreign satellite news channels.
Dr. Al-Shayiji earned his PhD in American and International Studies from the University of Texas in the US.
