Dr. Hessah Lootah is Associate Professor, Department of Public Communications, UAE University. Earlier, she had worked in film production at Dubai TV and in print journalism at Al Khaleej Newspaper. She has to her credit a large number of studies on the media, culture, heritage and technology. She is a member of the UAE Media Council and a founder member of the UAE Human Rights Society.
