Born in Jerusalem, Sakijha carries a bachelor’s degree in political science from the Cairo University. Since 1997, he has authored a daily column In the Ad-Dustour daily. Sakijha was the editor-in-chief of Akher Khabar evening daily from 1982-1990. He has a number of publications to his credit including 'The Milky Way' (2003), and 'Black and White' (1982).
