Dr. Al Amiri currently works as Assistant undersecretary for Medical Practice and Licensee, UAE Ministry of Health. He also heads the National High Committee for Blood Transfusion Services, Dr. Al Amiri was chosen in 2006 by the International Society Blood Transfusion (ISBT) amongst the leading 100 people in the world publishing researches, supporting and developing blood transfusion programs, Dr. Al Amiri received many local and international awards, published four scientific books in Arabic and English, attends a large number of international and World Health Organization (WHO) scientific conferences.
