Dr. Saleh received a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from King Abdulaziz University (KAU) in Jeddah in 1993, and was appointed a teaching assistant at the same college. He received his Master's and PhD from the University of Wales, Cardiff, UK. Dr. Saleh was the founding Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, KAU; he currently works as an associate professor in the faculty. He is the editor-in-chief of (Al Sahha Wal Hayat Magazine), secretary of the Medical Ethics unit at KAU and a researcher in Alamoudi Scientific chair in medical and health ethics. In 2009, Dr. Saleh completed the Science Writers and Journalist Fellowship Program from the Dubai Harvard Foundation for Medical Research. He is the author of four academic books and has published 25 articles.
