Omar Nashabe

Omar Nashabe is the editor of the Justice Section, columnist at Al-Akhbar and member of its editorial board, as well as a lecturer and professor at the Lebanese American University of Beirut, and consultant for the UN Office of Drugs and Crime. He has delivered a number of lectures at key universities and research centres in Lebanon and the Arab world. He has contributed to several regional and international conferences and has authored articles and studies on repairing the sector of security in Lebanon and the Arab countries and improving the conditions of the prisons in the Arab countries, This is in addition to his media contributions through Arab and International satellite stations. Dr. Nashabe holds a PhD in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Social Policy.
