Zied Al Heni
A journalist and a Blogger – Tunisia
A Tunisian activist, blogger and one of the Tunisian civil society activists, Zeid Al Heni held the position of director of the Amnesty International office in Tunisia. He is a member of the Tunisian Human Rights Association, and the executive office of the Tunisian Journalists Union. He is the owner and editor of the ‘Tunisian Journalist’ blog, which was blocked 110 times by the previous regime in Tunis. He currently holds the position of the director of 'Al Sahafa' newspaper. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physical sciences from the Basra University and a Masters in construction from the National School of Architecture and Construction.
